1) Do I have to sign up for my first yoga classes?
You are not required to sign up for your first session - this is optional.
Are you a newcomer? You are advised to come 20 minutes before the start of the course to complete the formalities. You will receive general information on how the school operates.

2) Do I have to sign up for every class?
There is no obligation to sign up for each and every class. System registration is available as an option. Our training rooms can accommodate only a limited number of participants. If you want to have a guaranteed entry, please make a booking. Please remember that your absence from the course or cancellation of booking within 24 hours before the start of the course will result in your internal voucher being reduced by one entry or an additional fee being charged for partnership systems, such as Benefit, Ok system and Fit Profit.

3) Will I be able to attend courses such as yoga for beginners and stretch yoga at any time, or are these classes intended only for those who have practised yoga for some time?
You are welcome to join our classes at any time. The sessions are carried out in such a way as to enable newcomers to adjust their yoga practice to their individual condition and skills level. We recommend that you let your teacher know that you are a newcomer to yoga before the class starts. The teacher will give you all the information you need and will guide you through your first yoga practice and the further training process.

4) Can I start Kalari and Capoeira courses at any time or are these courses intended for more advanced pratisioners?
You are welcome to join our classes at any time. These courses are designed to enable newcomers to practise yoga in a way which best suits their needs and condition. We recommend that you let your teacher know that you are a newcomer to yoga before the class starts. Your teacher will provide you will all necessary information and guidelines on how to do exercises during your first classes, and will guide through the process of yoga practice. You won’t need a yoga mat during these courses. Please wear comfortable clothes. We do not wear shoes within the yoga school. During the course we practice yoga barefoot.

5) Do I need to have my own yoga mat?
We recommend that you bring your own mat. The school offers a possibility of renting yoga mats at a charge of 5 PLN and also has a shop which sells mats. The reception staff will help to select the right mat.

6) What is the validity of a voucher?
Regardless of the date of purchase, the system issues a 30-day voucher. You may purchase a voucher at any time. It will be valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

7) If I use up all my voucher course entries, will I be able to buy another voucher at once or will I have to wait until the end of the 30-day period?

You may purchase vouchers at any time and in advance.

8) This is the first time that I have practised at Astanga Yoga Studio
Check out the class schedule on the website and select any course you want. If you are new to yoga, please sign up for beginner’s yoga or stretch yoga. You don’t have to register for classes. If you have any doubts as to which course is the best for you, please contact us by phone or e-mail: Please wear casual clothing and bring a mat with you (if you have any). Don’t forget to wear a smile! We do not wear shoes at yoga school. During the course we practice yoga barefoot.

9) What do I need to do in order to register via
When you first register for courses, you will receive an email with login and password. You may book courses, regardless of whether you have our voucher or partnership system cards such as Multisport and Ok System. Please visit our and the system will provide step-by-step guidance through a simple registration process. Through the panel you may either book or cancel yoga classes, as well as monitor your entries record.

10) Which classes are recommended for beginners?
If you have never practised ashtanga yoga before, we recommend that you start with beginner’s yoga or stretch yoga. These forms of yoga are best suited for newcomers to yoga or for those who have had little physical activity.
These classes are also intended for those who have already come into contact with and practised ashtanga yoga. More experienced practitioners may also start with vinyasa yoga.

11) I have once suffered an injury. Can I join your classes? (for example, beginner’s class)?
You will need to consult the yoga teacher before the course.

12) What are Moondays?
These are the new moon and full moon days which are observed as yoga holidays (without Mysore practice) in Ashtanga Yoga.

13) What is the difference between ashtanga yoga and other forms of yoga?
The main difference is the dynamics of asanas (yoga postures). In ashtanga yoga we take one breath in the posture and asana is held for a maximum of 5 breaths. This causes our body to sweat profusely, cleansing it of toxins.
With other forms of yoga, we hold the pose for a maximum of 5 minutes.

14) How can I check the current class schedule?
The fastest way is to visit the website
You may check the schedule for daily, weekly and monthly classes. The schedule will also provide you with information on classes scheduled for later periods, cancelled or postponed classes (due to holiday periods, teacher’s absence or Moondays). You will also be informed about any changes to the class schedule via our Facebook profile:

15) Can I register with and enter a free entry code into the system?
Please register, enter the correct number from the coupon you received from your friend as part of the “Recomend to a friend“ action, or collect the coupon at the reception and come to our classes. Let the reception staff know that you have already booked the course. Only new clients, i.e. those not registered in the system, are entitled to use a free entry coupon.
Second option: collect a coupon at the reception and the reception staff will guide you through the registration process and help you complete the formalities.
